Ceremonial Matcha

Ceremonial matcha boasts a strong flavour and possesses a bright green hue, mild umami, with respectable bitter notes of catechins characteristics of Japanese green tea. Consuming matcha can help neutralise free radicals, reduce 'bad' LDL cholesterol and has been linked to cancer prevention. In addition, matcha has a high concentration of L-theanine, an amino acid that can ease anxiety, helping with relaxation and sleep.

Directions of Use:

To consume as a delicious warm beverage. Add 1/2 teaspoon - approx. 2 bamboo scoops (1g) of matcha into a matcha bowl, wet with 15ml of 70-degree water and thoroughly mix using bamboo whisk until a smooth paste forms. Add remaining water (70ml) and mix until consistent.

To enjoy iced on a warm summer’s day. Simply add Blendsmiths Matcha and milk into a blender, blast until ready and then pour over ice.

It’s my favourite matcha to have at home for such a great price. My only criticism is it is quite annoying to have it arrive in a small bag. I often lose some of the product either from spillages when trying to transfer it into the tin or it getting caught in the creases of the bag.
